Welcome of New Superintendent

To All District Staff and Students, and Hayden Community:

The Hayden School District Board of Education is very pleased to inform you all that Phil Kasper from Delores, Colorado (serving the Central Consolidated School District in Northern New Mexico) will be joining us July 1st, 2015 as our next School District Superintendent.  We all stand united in anticipation of continued leadership to look forward to.
We are very thankful and appreciative of Trudy Vader's service to the district this past year.  We are particularly appreciative of her hard work and commitment as she has worked through the challenging decisions through the closing of this current school year.  We graciously support her decision to resign effective this next June 30th, as she moves on to her next opportunity.
Phil and his wife Shirley will be re-visiting the Hayden district very soon to continue the process of finding a home to settle into.  He expresses his sincere pleasure to be joining our district and working with, as he stated, the "wonderful people of this community".  We hope to keep you all informed as this transition continues.
The Board also wishes you all the very best of endings as you work through the ending of another chapter for our students.  We look forward to sharing the numerous successes and celebrations with you and our students.
Warm Regards,
On behalf of your Hayden Board of Education.
